We are currently looking for a Senior BI Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and experience working directly with international clients in a consulting or client-facing environment.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable BI solutions across the varying departments of client organizations.
• Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations that support strategic business decisions
• Design data transformation jobs that will take raw source data and conform to data models that support reporting.
• Work directly with clients to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and provide ongoing support. Be a thought leader on metric design and development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, product managers, and stakeholders
• Optimize SQL queries, ETL pipelines, and reporting performance
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across BI systems
• Present insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Contribute to BI best practices, documentation, and process improvements

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, or related roles
• Strong experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar and their best practices.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience working with different data sets.
• Experience designing and maintaining data models and ETL workflows in production.
• Working knowledge of python or scripting experience for data processing/automation to support guide AI driven development.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices
• Previous consulting or client-facing experience is required
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• C1+ English proficiency with the ability to confidently communicate with international clients
• Experience working remotely with distributed teams.
• Based in LATAM

Nice to Have

• Experience with developing in cloud native platforms
• Experience with dbt ecosystem and development patterns
• Exposure to modern data stack environments including cloud data warehousing platforms (i.e. Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks) and pythonic frameworks for orchestration.
• Familiarity with AI native analytics solutions like Lightdash, Omni, or equivalent.
