About the Role

We’re hiring a Senior Python Engineer – Developer Platform (6–8+ years of experience) to help build and evolve a developer platform used to create AI agents.

This is not a traditional DevOps or infrastructure-heavy role.

You’ll focus on building tools and systems that enable other engineers to ship faster, more reliably, and with better guardrails.

The platform is cloud-based and serves enterprise use cases, so structured thinking, scalability, and maturity are critical.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build developer-facing tools (CLI tools, SDKs, internal frameworks)
• Improve developer workflows, packaging, and publishing processes
• Contribute to the architecture of a cloud-native AI platform
• Standardize release and distribution mechanisms for Python components
• Create systems that reduce friction and increase engineering velocity
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve developer experience (DX)

What We’re Looking For:

Must Have:

• 6–8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong Python expertise (including packaging and distribution concepts)
• Experience building tools used by other engineers
• Developer experience (DX) mindset
• Familiarity with cloud-native systems and distributed architectures
• Strong communication skills (C1 and above English proficiency required)

Nice to Have:

• Experience building internal developer platforms
• CLI tool or SDK development
• Automation workflows for CI/CD enablement
• Experience serving internal engineering teams

What This Role Is Not:

• Not purely infrastructure/DevOps
• Not Terraform/Kubernetes-only
• Not an SRE-focused position

This role sits at the intersection of backend engineering and developer enablement.
