Junior Scrum Master / Agile Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Scrum Master / Agile Coordinator to support Agile delivery teams within a fast-paced enterprise technology environment. This role works closely with a Senior Scrum Master Lead to help facilitate Agile ceremonies, maintain delivery visibility, and ensure teams follow Agile best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has a foundational understanding of Scrum, strong organizational skills, and hands-on experience supporting Agile teams using Jira and related collaboration tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Maintain Jira boards, sprint backlogs, and Agile documentation to ensure accurate tracking and visibility of work
  • Assist with sprint planning activities, including capacity planning and backlog readiness reviews
  • Track risks, dependencies, and blockers, escalating issues as appropriate
  • Support delivery reporting by maintaining sprint metrics, team dashboards, and status updates
  • Ensure user stories are properly refined, documented, and prepared for sprint execution
  • Collaborate with developers, QA teams, product owners, and business stakeholders to support delivery alignment
  • Reinforce Agile principles and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across teams
  • Assist in driving transparency, accountability, and effective communication within Agile teams

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience supporting Agile teams in Scrum Master, Agile Coordinator, Project Coordinator, or related roles
  • Working knowledge of Scrum framework and Agile methodologies
  • Experience using Jira for sprint management and delivery tracking
  • Familiarity with Confluence; ServiceNow experience is a plus
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to identify, track, and escalate risks or impediments appropriately
  • Experience working with cross-functional technology teams
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is a plus

Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to enterprise IT environments and application development teams
  • Experience supporting software development or technology delivery projects
  • Understanding of Agile metrics, sprint reporting, and team performance tracking
  • Experience coordinating work across multiple teams or stakeholders
