In This Role, You Will:

• Develop and maintain modern web applications focused on video and media experiences
• Build responsive, high-quality user interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Support video playback experiences across web platforms and devices
• Collaborate with developers, designers, QA, and product teams to deliver new features
• Troubleshoot and debug frontend and playback-related issues
• Contribute to performance optimization and overall user experience improvements
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD workflows
• Continuously learn and apply new technologies and best practices

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Frontend Engineer, or JavaScript Developer
• Strong experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and responsive web development
• Hands-on experience integrating or supporting video playback and streaming functionality in web applications
• Familiarity with technologies such as HLS, DASH, Video.js, hls.js, JW Player, Brightcove, or similar media/video platforms
• Understanding of frontend performance optimization and debugging
• Experience with Git-based version control workflows (GitHub/GitLab)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins is a plus
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Comfortable working in Linux-based environments
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with video advertising integrations (pre-roll, mid-roll, post-roll, VAST/IMA SDK)
• Familiarity with CDN platforms such as Akamai or Fastly
• Experience with React or modern frontend frameworks
• Understanding of playback quality metrics and streaming best practices
